Congratulations to Ollie Hill from Brockhampton School. Winner of my challenge to name a giant bird in my second book. Deeku was a fantastically imaginative name. I look forward to bring this new character alive in The Gate to Nowhere.

I had so much fun visiting Rushwick and Brockhampton Schools for world book day.  

I did my quick cartooning challenge and was nearly stumped on a number of occasions. Chicken sat on a Shark! Axolotl and chipmunk's.
